the cobia that got away

this giant of a cobia was hooked in 20 fathoms of the gold coast.it was fought for over two hours before breaking away at the trace...next to the kayak....to the disapointment of the angler. This is the month that the cobia should start showing up in numbers of the coast.

15 september report of the seaway

A mate stuart managed to get out for a fish of the seaway banks on the 15 september 2008.It has been a hard month fishing wise with persistent north easterlies and as a result the water colour is green and cold...but amazingly he still manages this beautifull 19.5kg longtail tuna!!!!!
